I've had a huge "heart on" for this band since I saw 2 of their 4059578983283437828038903892 Performances during this years' SXSW Music Festival.

Mix A little punk, a little dance rock, a little moxy, and a shitload of razorblades and the end result would be half as cool as DFA1979's debut album.

There are a handful of exceptional Death From Above remixes floating around the "internerd." I've posted two of them above. The band just announced the release of Romance Bloody Romance, a remix and b-side compilation, which will hit stores on November 8th. Im definately going to snatch this up on vinyl.

Death From Above 1979 will play the El Rey Theater TONIGHT with The Mean Reds. Tickets are still available.

DFA1979 are currently supporting Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age on tour.
