The original members of the legendary Gang Of Four finally buried the hatchet are back together again. Their triumphant return is marked by the release of a new album, Return The Gift (In stores now), and their first U.S. tour as the original lineup since 1981. Gasp. If this is the first you've heard of Gang of Four, please find your nearest member of REM, U2, Rage Against The Machine, or Red Hot Chili Peppers and ask them who Jon King, Andy Gill, Dave Allen, and Hugo Burnham are. They'll be more than happy to fill you in. Those smart cookies chose one HELL of a line up for this tour. Men, Woman, & Children and Morningwood (BOTH alumi RockInsider Quarry Artists) are both currently touring with the band as their direct support. Pleasure overload is now inevidable. You will probably find me in a lump on Hollywood Blvd directly following the show. Don't worry. I will have died happy. Can't wait till after the show when Loose Tooth and Beauty Bar will duke it out in the "Whose got the better After Party" Smackdown. Both are touting themselves as the OFFICIAL GANG OF FOUR AFTER PARTY.
