I have been a huuuuuuge fan of both bands for years now and now both are on the dawn of new releases and I am finding myself dancing in front of the Post Office off Wilcox. Nine Black Alps have been tearing up the UK for over a year and now their album, Everything Is, is being realeased in the U.S. on Feb 28th under Tiny Evil/Interscope. Every track is a delightful mix of underground punk and hedonistic pop glory. Anthem after anthem this album delivers with a bevy of 3:30 second rock radio ready masterpieces. I was driving to work this morning and heard "Cosmopolitan" on Indie 103.1. 'Bout friggin' time blokes!! SOOO GOD DAMN GOOD! If you like Pennywise or Bad Religion you will love these guys. I first found out about them through a Foo Fighter's video (Dave Grohl was wearing a Sound Tee) I've seen them numerous times at the Warped Tour and once with The Strokes. Such a great live band, singer Maia Ivarsson fucking owns that stage. They definately have patented a definitive electro rock sound with their new album, Dying To Say This To You. The album drops March 21st followed by a headline tour of the US. WOOT! Aiight Im behind on work and need to get back to it.
