It's The Journey That Brings Us Together...
Especially our kind of Journey. you know, the kind you throw on at 4:45 in the afternoon and crank as loud as you can at your cubicle. I usually start the fist pumping and slowly build it up to a feverish explosion of energy, jazz hands, and hairbrush-worthy dance move. .005 seconds later I'm propelled out of my ergonomic chair by an invisible force (some may call it the ROCK-CHI). Across the hallway I fly and into every work space on the floor I go - bringing the infectious aroma and maddening charisma that is arena rock. Generally by the second chorus the entire office has completely forgotten what they were working on and are channeling Steve Perry so succinctly you can almost smell the hair spray and envision the open shirt. Someone busts out the Neal Schon air guitar and at that point - It's all over folks. The wheels of music industry have completely stopped for the next 4 minutes and 14 seconds. CAT.....THIS ONE'S FOR YOU. P.S. I need a haircut. I just realized Steve Perry and me look like hair twins. OY! JAX - The Rock Insider |

yes, 4:45 in the afternoon...the afternoon slump. when i hear those first few notes from the next cubicle over, my spirits lift, my ass lifts out of my chair, and i can no longer contain the part of me that is truely a rock star. i have officially renamed 4-5 PM Classic Rock Revival Hour. Oh Jaxxy, what would i do without you?
