One Last Thing....

BRAND NEW are still one of my favorite bands ever..... Yeah, I was and always will be at heart an emo kid. You'd be surpised how many bloggers started out as emo kids. WELL.... BRAND NEW are back in LA this weekend playing two SOLD OUT shows at the Glass House and The Avalon. Me = Retard. Didn't get tickets in time. So I ain't going. Deja Entendu was my #1 album of 2003. I played it just about every single fucking day. After 10 months of recording, rumors of breakups, reformations, more fucking breakup rumors, a new label (Interscope), fighting, bitching, moaning, ap.net drama, and loads more dilemmas that no one but us Lacey-heads give a shit about, the band has finally FINALLY begun mixing the new record and embarked on a 16 city U.S. Tour. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. I'm sure all it would take is a good 45 minute set of "Sic Transit Gloria" "Jude Law" and "Soco" to have me back in rubber plastic bracelets writing retarded poetry in my myspace blog.
