What Would RockInsider Be Without Birdmonster Pictures?
![]() FEATURED ARTIST: BIRDMONSTER SPECIAL NOTE TO HATERS: Keep all your snarky comments about my unyielding devotion to the fellers in BIRDMONSTER to yourself. The band put on one incredible performance in front of a SOLD OUT hometown crowd last Saturday at Bottom Of The Hill in S.F. I was priveledged enough to be witness to it. Read Birdmonster's account of the show in their blog here. View The Entire Photo Set Here. Quite frankly, I don't want to live in a world where an avid BMONSTER fan can't mosey over to this site and see the lastest photos of Zach's glowing Pork Pies, Justin championing the melodica, Peter and his boots, and David quote "Looking Retarded" (I still think this photo is PRICELESS man). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() TONIGHT IN LOS ANGELES: Moving Picture Show, Steve Barton (From Translator) @ Club Spaceland Simon Dawes, Gosling @ Safari Sam's - $5 w/ rsvp Sea Wolf, Brother Juniper @ The Echo - $5 Will Hoge, Rose Hill Drive, The Trews @ Troubadour - $12 Bedroom Walls, Listing Ship, Simone White @ Tangier - $8 The Outline (Record Release Show), Vedera, White Noise, Lemon Sun, Fielding @ The Key Club - $8 Antiques, Caleb Sweazy, Cattywompus, Whackstatic @ Silverlake Lounge $5 Arthur Magazine Presents Feathers, Jana Hunter, Entrance, White White Quilt @ El Cid - $10 Marshan Rock (Scotland), Whores of Tijuana @ The Scene Bar - $5 A Mind Awake, A Dayze Away, Somehow Still Alive, Circus, Minor @ The Roxy - $10 Indie 101.3's Watusi Radio Presents... post a commentThere could never be enough sweaty pictures of Peter Arcuni. He is delicious.
How exactly can there be Birdmonster "haters"? These guys are fantastic, and I'm not attracted to a one of them.
why is there like 1837y9238472634 things to do tonight - and i'm not that excited about any of them?
How very nice to see some attention for a San Francisco band. A sold out show at Bottom of the Hill sounds a little claustro - however there is always a nice energy in there. Hopefully I'll catch them next time around.
next time around is coming right up, if i'm not mistaken:
August 12th in oakland
September 30th @ Slim's
I love birdmonster. lucked out at bfd and found a birdmonster shirt on the ground at the front of the right side stage during the yeah yeah yeahs, this past year. that was pretty cool. that's where i first heard them and i've been listening to them ever since.
