I have tried to cut back on the cussing (It's totally unbecoming of a lady) but DAMMIT YOU CAN'T TAKE AWAY MY FUCKING SWEAR WORDS. IT'S WHO I FUCKING AM!!! Sorry 'bout that. Ahem. without further adu I'd like to introduce you all to "Fcking Boyfriend" by one of my new favorite LA Projects THE BIRD AND THE BEE. The project was started by eastside songtress Inara George and Greg Kurstin who bonded over their love of Jazz standards. I'm not quite certain which one is the bird and who is the bee, but whatever the dynamic they work off of - it certainly works. Amazingly quirky lyrics paired with fantastic downtempo beats. I'm in love. The Bird and The Bee are playing at Club Spaceland this Monday w/ The Little Ones (August Residency). ADMISSION IS FREE.
