I took one listen to "Piano Man" and that was it for me. What a tremendous track. It doesn't get much better than when the beat finally drops and frontman Aaron Behrens' shaky yet powerful voice just wails over the top. I've been playing it in EVERY DJ set for the last 6 months. The Austin, TX duo are currently on tour in support of their new album, Papparazzi Lightning. Check out tour dates on the band's myspace page. LA ROCCA [MP3] La Rocca - This Life [MP3] La Rocca - Goodnight I have a soft spot in my heart for irish quartet La Rocca. The band's debut full length, The Truth, came out this past Tuesday on Dangerbird Records. Love it or Hate it "This Life" is catchy as fuck and "Goodnight" is a simply gorgeous track. Be sure to check out the band's CD Release show TONIGHT at Hotel Cafe. It's their last U.S. show before heading of to Australia so you sure won't want to miss it! THE BINGES [MP3] The Binges - Los Angeles [MP3] The Binges - Pay To Play The Binges played HELL YA! NIGHT in January. Their set KICKED MY ASS and made my jaw drop to the floor. What amazing energy. The singer bounced, crawled, and sauntered across the stage while the two japanese sisters from Tokyo who barely spoke a word of English WAILED on Bass and Guitar. I don't think I've ever seen a chick carry a lead like that. I don't know what it is, but this band has something special. Watch the band's first ever video "Pay To Play" Right Here. I spent much of my first year of college obsessed with this band. It only took 3 years, but their self-titled debut will be out Sept 26th on Capitol Records.
