Photos + Video: Lily Allen At The Troubadour. Ghostland Observatory @ The Echo
![]() LILY ALLEN @ The Troubadour - 10/14/06 HOLY CRAP. Tonight could go down in history as one of the best nights of my life. Not only was I able to get in to see Lily Allen at The Troubadour thanks to a very generous blogger - but I met my IDOL. ![]() It was simply magical. Gavin and Gwenny left lil' Kingston with a sitter to catch Lily's set. Also in attendance (and this is totally the short list): Sean Lennon, Lindsay Lohan, and Orlando Bloom. It was like a celebrity field trip to see Lily Allen. You were almost left wondering where they parked the bus. I felt like a total fish out of water. ![]() Lily started the show off with "LDN" - back by a DJ, Keyboardist, Bassist, and Horn Section. ![]() The crowd was definately feeling it. After every song people were screaming for more. ![]() Lily came back for two songs "Everything's Wonderful" and "Alfie." After the show I ventured upstairs to the loft to talk to my co-workers before taking off to see Ghostland Observatory. It was so packed you couldnt move. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and said "'scuse me, Can I squeeze by?" Sure enough, IT WAS GWEN STEFANI."I just froze like a deer in the headlights. I don't normally get starstruck, BUT HOLY FRICKIN HELL IT'S GWEN FRICKIN' STEFANI. I have been such a huge fan since I was 10 yrs old. I glanced over to see her chatting with Lily. I lurked around for a few minutes (Like the stalker I am) and finally someone introduced me to her. My life is no complete. I can die a happy now. Lily Allen "Little Things" Live @ Troubadour, Hollywood, CA 10/14/06 ![]() Aaron Beherens of Ghostland Observatory @ The Echo - 10/14/06 [View Photo Set] I high tailed it out of the Troubadour to catch Ghostland Observatory at The Echo. Hell Ya! Presented the show and man o' man was it packed. Ghostland whipped the crowd into a frenzy and absolutely KILLED it live. I'm fully convinced that singer Aaron Behrens is possessed. The band was called back for not one but TWO encores and completely sold out of CDs at the show. My friend Jana and a group of people jumped up on stage for their last song. There was no way I WASN'T going up there. I ran from the DJ booth to the stage and danced around like geriatrc with no Depends in site. ![]() ![]() Heather DJed until 2 am. All in all it was a fantastic night. I learned two valuable lessons tonight: 1.) Always dance like no ones watching. and 2.) Lily Allen is the real deal. JAX - The Rock Insider |

post a commentJudging by your pictures, you were right in front of me. Adding to your list of celebrities - I saw Geoffrey Rush (Barbosa from Pirates of the Caribbean) and Tony Kanal.
That was the most dancing I've ever seen at the Troubadour. It was brilliant (thats my attempt at being English). You forgot to mention the smoke that was pumped into the crowd during Alfie.
Sounds like a fun night! Damn I should of went!
