VIDEO: Copeland "Control Freak" First off Copeland will be performing at the El Rey tomorrow night with The Appleseed Cast. Copeland's last record - Beneath Medicine Tree made my top 10 list in 2003 (Same list that had The Early November in the top spot. I was 19 yrs old - give me a friggin' break). My co-worker Cat and I have had their new album, Eat, Sleep, Repeat ON REPEAT for the last two weeks. Once a Copeland fan - ALWAYS A COPELAND FAN. Copeland have done a spectacular job growing with their fans. Eat, Sleep, Repeat is a simply GORGEOUS record with a more adult sound, amazing breakdowns, and tons of spacey guitar. This is an artist-defining record. I just hope Copeland keeps going and doesn't chose this as their last release. It is a common curse in the genre. Needless I'm stoked about tomorrow. There will also be an exclusive after party at The Standard Hollywood. I will be there for certain. Come and hang out with me!
