I was midway through my Pilgrim when I open up the Tripwire and saw: COLD WAR KIDS ARE GOING TO BE ON LETTERMAN DECEMBER 21ST! I literally choked on my cookie and after sputtering for a good 5 minutes and 2 glasses of water I'm now bringing this news to you. Holy friggin' crap that is the most amazing thing ever. It is absolutely SHOCKING to me how this little band that could went from Hell Ya! in February to touring with Tapes N' Tapes, to signing to Downtown, to THIS in less than a year. I am soo friggin' PROUD of THEM! Starting December 2nd The Orphanage Gallery in Silverlake will be showing a collection of bassist Matt Maust's incredible artwork. The show will run for three weeks and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK IT OUT. The band will also be going on a two-city tour this January. The band will be back and forth between LA and NYC for a series of shows - including two shows at Silverlake Lounge - The venue that started it all.
