Beck Wheeler Kissy Kissy Toy Green Screen Challenge

PUT THIS BECK WHEELER DOLL ON THE MOON AND WIN BIG

[Stream] Beck - Nausea

OK, So I'm not even gunna be shy about it. I'm straight up copying The Decemberists' coattail riding MTVu competition copy of Steven Colbert's "Green Screen Challenge." You heard me.

May I introduce to you the first ever "ROCK INSIDER Beck Wheeler Kissy Kissy Toy Green Screen Challenge."

Entry is very simple. Put this friggin' doll in the most absurdly awesome circumstance and send the jpg to schmindie@rockinsider.com by Jan 22nd. I will pick the final three which will be put up for voting on Rock Insider Jan 24th.

What happens next? Well AMERICA VOTES, DUH. The contestant with the most votes will not only win the toy (it's pretty sweet. I've been sleeping with it all week) but you'll win a copy of Beck's new album, The Information, and an all expenses paid dinner for two at Zankou Chicken (Made famous in Beck's song "Debra") courtesy of yours truly.

Couple of Question and Guidelines I know I'm going to get asked:

* Files must be in JPG form no larger than 400x300 pixels at 72 dpi.
* No profanity or nudity. I dont want to see any Pete Wentz copycat sidekick photos.
* Extra points if you include Lightsabers
* Extra Extra points if you include a Warlock or 4 neck guitar

and finally
* NO YOU CANNOT SUBSTITUTE PETER FRAMPTON ON BEHALF OF THE COLBERT NATION.

Get crackin!'

The original green screen challenge was not Colbert's idea.

While Indie Rock Cafe first blogged about the similarity between The Decemberists contest and the one Colbert held on his show, we never got the credit, but Colbert started his show the famous challenge two days after our post.

Now we have information that Colbert actually got the idea from someone. He never told anyone that. Wouldn't that have made him a hypocrite during the entire run of the challenge (which fueled his ratings)?

We are waiting for word from the show's producer, but no reply from them so far.
