Deerhoof Plus Eighty-One
![]() Deerhoof's new album "Friend Opportunity" hits stores Jan 23rd [MP3] Deerhoof - +81 My obsession with Deerhoof didn't begin until 2005's The Runners Four. I'm late on the band wagon once again I'm sure. The disconnected white space of that album was pure sonic bliss. Now the band has returned again with Friend Opportunity - due in stores Jan. 23rd. I got a copy of it in the mail yesterday and have joyfully listened to it 4 times since. The album has a fuller sound, a few groove beats, and dare i say it some really amazing pop songs. Head over to GorillaVsBear to download another track from Friend Opportunity "Matchbook Seeks Maniac." Deerhoof will be performing in Los Angeles Jan 24th at The El Rey. Be sure to get your tickets now. COOL ON THE INTER-NERD: Heart On A Stick aggregated over 249 blog year end lists to create the The 2006 Music Bloggregate. HOLY COW this is awesome. post a commentLos Anjealous is pretty funny. Especially when they paid tribute to ambitious-outsiders and poured out a 40 for them.
