Monday L.A. FREE-FOR-ALL: The Broken West, To Live And Die In L.A. The Pity Party

Rock Insider back in action! I took a long nice break for the weekend and completely shut myself in my apartment. Having zero dollars to your name will do that do you. I slept a collective 38 hrs in 3 days. It was glorious.

I’m back on my feet and feeling chipper. It’s a good thing I got so many Zzzs because holy cow! Are there tons of amazing FREE! shows tonight. Listings below. I am going to try and make it out to a few of them. Full review tomorrow.

Also, in light of recent circumstances I have opted to put one of my beloved basses up for sale.

Don't think I ever mentioned on this site that I played the bass (of the the many random factoids about the mysterious JAX I guess).

Not my bass, mines a slightly different color

It’s A Spector Performance 4 bolt Bass I bought in 2005. Since then it has only been played during church services and my bedroom. I’m asking $325 for it. It retails for just south of $600. No damage whatsoever to it. The thing is in immaculate condition.

You can view a similar bass here (NOTE THIS IS NOT MY BASS. EMAIL ME AND I WILL SEND YOU PICTURES). Specs are all the same. It has fantastic tone and has served me well for the past two years.

I hate to beg (especially on my own frickin’ site. It looks tacky) but I need to sell this by the end of the week or someone’s not going to make February rent.

Email me at jax@rockinsider.com for further details. If no one makes an offer by Wednesday, It’s going up on ebay.
