My Official 500th Post.. What To Write About...

AND STILL MIGHTY CUTE. Well, it's official - I made it to 500 blog posts. A lot of people thought I'd last less than a week and few people still think this blog is "fake. " This blog is most definitely "not a fake." Call it fake and you're calling me a fake - which is just mean. Your mother should have taught you better. I have been stewing for days thinking WHAT IN THE WORLD I should write about for my 500th post. Right now I'm severely lacking in originality. I'm a blogger without a THING to say - MIND BLOWING. I figure the best way to honor this occasion would be to consider it just another day in "HELL-AYYY." If you were lucky enough to get tickets to either of CWKs two Silverlake Lounge shows Jan 12th and 19th (going back to where it all started folks) consider yourself a target (I need tickets). The two shows sold out faster than any other show in the venue's history (well at least as far back as promoter Scott Sterling can remember). Austinist has a HUGE list of bands rumored to be at SXSW this year. Festival organizers are withholding the list of attendees til a later date in a futile attempt to thwart rampant day party events stealing acts away and making it totally possible to see every band you want to see without paying $500 bucks for a badge. LIKE THAT WILL STOP US. I've been to SXSW three years in a row without ever having a wristband. I would absolutely love a badge, but there is absolutely NO WAY I could afford it. I can confirm Division Day, Birdmonster, Briertone, Great Northern, Cold War Kids, Delta Spirit, and Street To Nowhere will all be in attendance at the festival this year.
