My Girlfriend - NEKO CASE [MP3] Neko Case - Deep Red Bells (Live From Austin, TX) Most people know of my unyielding borderline psychotic obsession with Neko Case (don't worry - no restraining orders needed. The last one is still in effect). Last years' Fox Confessor Brings The Flood was my all purpose record for 2006. Heck, it's my all purpose record for 2007! No matter what mood I'm in - be it happy, sad, nostalgic, angry, depressed, melancholy, tired, or just plain moobie (my all purpose word for feeling "meh") Fox Confessor was the perfect CD for the moment. At long last my girlfriend Neko Case will be returning to Los Angeles playing the Henry Fonda Theater Saturday night. Will Saturday be the night I at long last profess my undying love for her and her heavenly voice? Well, I got tickets so we shall see!!! I recently got Neko Case "Live From Austin, TX" in the mail. The CD/DVD is part of new live series put out by the lovely folks at New West Records. The tracks were recorded August 9, 2003 during Neko's debut Austin City Limits performance. It combines the best of her first 3 albums in one magical performance. This album is an absolute MUST HAVE for any die hard Neko fan (which, let's face it I am). Pick it up digitally right here.
