Guilty Pleasures...Avril Lavigne

Avril Lavigne shows her softer side in Her new video OK I'm not afraid to admit it. This video for Avril Lavigne's new single "When You're Gone" made me feel all squishy inside. Since my iPOD broke a month ago (Thanks Steve Jobs...GEEZ) I've been listening to a lot of commercial radio in between the occasional skipping CD in my car stereo deck. Could this be the beginning of a more commercial Rock Insider website? HECK NO. Our devotion to the indie leaning denomination will never waiver. Although we will admit we kinda like Avril's new stuff. Seeing Avril sans tie and dickies singing deeply emotive lyrics and including old people in her video made me tear up a little bit. What happened to my Sk8ter Punk Chick? **CRIES*** It has been abolsutely impossible to escape her single "Girlfriend." At first the cheer anthem drove shivers down to my core, but after 467567433738378373873 + listens of that ill forsaken song I can say with a programmed smile on my face that it's sick.
