The more I see this video, (and it's been popping up everywhere recently), the more I'm convinced he's singing through an effects unit to drop his voice an octave. I think that's why he moves out of the way of the mic to breathe - the affected sound of an intake of breath would give it away.

There are a few of his videos on YouTube, and listening through a decent set of headphones I'm sure I can pick up another voice, singing at a more normal pitch...

Hey, who knows? I might be completely wrong. I suppose we'll have to wait to see him speaking.

There is already a video of him speaking because no one believed him. Saw it a month or two ago.

I live in Minneapolis. I know this dude! That really is his voice! It freaked me out when i first heard him talk...didn't know he could sing, too!
