I asked him what cave he'd fallen into the past 2 months. He simply replied with a chuckle and a headshake. The next day I get an email from Eenie Meenie announcing Division Day's ambitious cover and remix project. To celebrate the re-release of Beartrap Island the band will release a new remix or cover song EVERY TUESDAY for the next 8 weeks. Man, this disappearance totally makes sense now. The first cover song to be released is this haunting cover of "Every Shining Time You Arrive" by one of my favorite bands of all time Sunny Day Real Estate. The band also will be unveiling piece by piece a digital map of Beatrap Island. The first piece is featured below. The re-release of Beartrap Island hits stores October 2nd and will be available on iTUNES September 18th.
