Today's new music feature comes from the dreamy folk pop collaboration of Kate Tucker & The Sons of Sweden. Their new self titled album was recorded and produced by Ryan Hadlock (Blonde Redhead, The Gossip, Holy Ghost Revival, The Octopus Project) and features a guest appearance from the amazing Damien Jurado. I heard "Faster Than Cars" as I was about to get on my flight to the bay area. I immediately thought this song sounds like something that should be on Grey's Anatomy. the group's easy going and ethereal tunes really show off Kate's trademark still but sweet voice that also manages to hold a gritty realness. I could easily see Kate keeping up with contemporaries such as Neko Case. Listen to more tracks right here.
