Record Releases I Missed Last Week

No Age Release Sub Pop Debut

Last week was such a crazy busy work week that I wasn't able to mention to insanely awesome records that came out....

First up Sunny Day Sets Fire's new album Summer Palace that came out digitally on IAMSOUND Records. The band's name perfectly describes their infectious upbeat indie pop tunes. You can purchase the 14 glee worthy tracks + digital booklet on iTUNES.

Also out last Tuesday was No Age's highly anticipated Sub Pop debut - Nouns - which is gettiing rave reviews from pretty much everybody. It already has a permanent spot on my list of top albums released in 2008 and the year isn't even half over.

OTHER REVIEWS:

Drowned in Sound review of Nouns
Rolling Stone on the artwork for Nouns
Pitchfork Best New Music review of Nouns
New York Times review of No Age live

[MP3] No Age - Eraser

Be sure to head over to eMusic or iTUNES or wherever you buy your music from (I hope its not bit torrent you thieves) and download these two great albums.

NO AGE is really boring, I still don't understand why people talk about that lame band.
