Thank god it's the weekend. I've had a pretty loaded and stressful week filled with series premieres, benefit shows, and a lot of expectation. Like I said THANK GOD its the weekend. TONIGHT you have two great show options in Echo Park: Darker My Love's bi-city residency continues with another FREE SHOW at The Echo with Fool's Gold. Last week there was a line around the corner. If you can't get in to the show I suggest you take a two minute walk up the street to Echo Curio for some BYOB action: Young Animals will play with Cries and Whispers, The Next Of Kin, and Hotbodies. All four band are absolutely amazing. If you haven't had the opportunity to see any of them yet I suggest you come out. American Apparel Flea Market This Weekend! I am pleased to say that the downtown warehouse summertime parking lot party scene is still in full effect. TOMORROW Parisian electro rocker Sebastian Tellier will be performing at the American Apparel Factory Flea Market. Just imagine a giant pile of AA clothing at drastically discounted prices. Last year over 4,000 people attended the event and took home almost 200,000 garments.  This year promises a slip n' slide, DJs, food and drink, a family bookstore, movie screenings, and a giant dance party after the sun goes down.
